T-AD - Tim
Ever wonder what happened to that chubby kid in school? You know, the one who played violin, was in the band and the art club, and always got A’s on everything? And wasn’t he the one who never played sports though he looked bigger than the rest of the football team, even in college? I know what happened to him – that chubby kid is me!I never played sports when I was a kid. In fact, it was only during my second year of college at Lock Haven University when I got into the weight room just to learn the ropes and have some fun. After graduation, I slipped and suffered with a weight somewhere above 350 lbs. With my father fearing that I would turn out to be overweight, diabetic, and have a myriad of weight-related health problems, I had to do something for myself and my family. Now I’m back in the gym, slimming down, beefing up and working hard to improve my health, my stature, and my pride.
I’m no bodybuilder, nor do I ever claim to be one. But I train for my mind and body – a spiritual coexistence forged in iron. Some stop to smell the roses; I stop to sketch them. I’m a gym rat of the people; my inspiration comes from the small successes of myself and others. Motivation and intensity are my strengths. With confidence, there is no goal that I cannot reach. With determination, there are no boundaries. Within me, there are no limits. I’m a man on the road to improvement. But it’s never the destination that concerns me – it’s the path I take that makes me stronger.
Sinner - Bob
My name is Bob. Outside of the gym, I’m also big into hockey, lacrosse, backpacking, rollerblading, and snowboarding. I first started weight training at the age of 13. I was kind of a twerp in junior high, but filled out nicely by the time I was in high school. I am currently a full-time student, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry, while working part-time doing the analytical chemistry and managing some chemical processes for a small electroplating company.
JoeFlex73 – Joe Deluca
My name is Joe DeLuca. I am 28 years old and have been working out heavily for over 5 years. I have a background in nutrition from time invested at Youngstown State University in their Dietetics department. I am currently studying Health Science at South University.I have always been heavy and that is what peaked my interest in working out and nutrition. I have been as heavy as 325 pounds, and will never be that heavy again. My goal is to reach my genetic peak in size and strength. I workout five days a week. I also thoroughly research what what I can to reach my goals.
Outside of AX I have a lovely girlfriend and work in a hotel. I am a big sports fan, especially of football. I also enjoy just hanging out with my friends, and listening to metal music.
Adawg - Aaron
In middle school I was an overweight kid that wasn't to interested in sports. Starting in my freshman year I joined wrestling and had to start lifting weights. This is when I realized that I enjoyed working out. During Sophomore year I quit wrestling because I decided I didn't like it anymore. However, it was in my Junior year I joined a class called "Sports Science." This is the class that re-sparked my interest in physical fitness. One day my professor put a picture up on the projector of Jay and Ronnie doing a huge lat spread. I remember vividly a girl yelling out "Ewe, who would want to look like that?" My teacher promptly responded with, "Don't worry, no one in here can ever look like that. It takes crazy genetics and a lot of hard work".It was then that I decided I wanted to pursue bodybuilding. I started off very strict and serious. My friends began questioning what I was doing because I was no longer coming to hang out after school. Instead, I would go home and lift weights. In most of my class's I would say that I had to go to the restroom when I was really going to the Snack Shack to get three hard boiled eggs and two containers of milk. In one year I changed my physique measurements from 146lbs @ 10.9% body fat to 185lbs @ 11.4% body fat.
I'm currently in my sophomore year at El Camino, a community college in Southern California, and I’m studying Kinesiology and Nutrition. Upon entering into college my interest in this subject really spiked as I had a plethora of interesting classes to choose from in my chosen field of academics. I want to eventually compete on stage. Right now I'm concentrating on working at school and trying my best to learn the most about Sports Fitness Nutrition and Kinesiology.
